• Project name: Roundabout Pendant
• Description: A 27mm crystal stone is securely encased with beads and sits neatly within the wooden ring. This pendant incorporates a variety of stitching techniques, including peyote stitch, right angle weave (RAW) and double right angle weave (DRAW). The back is fully covered with beads. The finished diameter of the pendant is 5.5cm. Rope suggestions will be given for hanging the pendant but will not be taught in class
• Skill Level: Peyote stitch, Right-angle weave (RAW), Double right angle weave (DRAW)
• Kit: Wooden ring will be provided on the day $1.00 each
• Materials list:
  • 27 mm round crystal stone
  • 6g. Size 8 Toho seed beads (Colour A)
  •  2g. Size 8 Toho/Miyuki seed beads (Colour B)
  •  7g. Size 11 Miyuki seed beads (Colour B)
  •  1g. Size 11 Toho seed beads (Colour A)
  •  5 cm wooden ring (to be purchased on the day from the tutor – $1.00)
    • Please take note of the brand of beads used as this is what has been tested
• Students should also bring the following supplies to class.
  • Bead mat, scissors/thread burner, size 10 beading needle, size 11, One G thread of thread of choice, magnifier/lighting as required.
