• Description: Learn to make ropes with and without beads using Kumihimo braiding.
• Skill Level: No previous knowledge required

  • 8 Bob-eez bobbins $4

• Materials list:
  • Size 11 beads in whatever colours (or if feeling adventurous different sizes or shapes like magatama or pip beads),
  • s-Lon cord
  • a mini Kumihimo plate
  • 8 bob-eez bobbins
  • rat tail threads
  • Lightweight weight
  • Big eye needle
  • Fun Button or End Caps (glue in type work best)
  • E6000 glue
  • Tutor will bring spare plates and bob-eez bobbins for sale as well as rat tail for practicing.
• Students should also bring the following supplies to class.
  • Bead mat and magnifier/lighting as required.
