Do you want to learn how to create beautiful alcohol ink artworks? 

Leanne and Dani will show you all of their tips and tricks for creating fabulous artworks with alcohol inks.
Students will learn how you can use air and alcohol to produce design effects, how the inks react with each other and other solutions, the basics on colour theory and how that applies to working with inks plus how to protect your works of art at home (and why this is necessary).
Leanne and Dani are both big advocates for creating safely and so there will also be a discussion on safety aspects of working with alcohol inks during this workshop (*you will be required to wear a mask during this session).

Students can expect to leave with multiple artworks on the day plus the knowledge and enthusiasm to create many more at home!

SKILL LEVEL: All skill levels – beginners are welcome!

TECHNIQUES: 

– safety with alcohol inks
– appropriate surfaces
– colour blending
– colour mixing
– what inks are best including how metallic/pearls work
– using air to produce design effects
– ink reactions
– protecting and sealing your artwork (won’t be done on the day due to drying time but you will be equipped with all the products/knowledge to do so at home)
